A traffic or sheep jam Lake District style! Its always amazing to see sheep dogs at work and the Lake District is no place to be if you are in a hurry!
Getting to know the locals - a common question we get asked is why does everybody in the Lake District have a dog?
With only 42,000 people living in an area the same size as Tokyo we have to have someone to talk to !
One of our favourite lunch stops is Yew Tree farm in Borrowdale which serves a delicious homemade Herdwick lamb stew and the best scones in Cumbria. It is a firm favourite on our Lakes Explorer tour and happy smiles all round - well almost!
