The prize for sheer determination to visit the Lake District at all costs must go to Vy Le and her sister from Vietnam who left York at three o'clock in the morning!!!! They 'slept' in the cold waiting room at York railway station so as not to miss the train from York to reach Windermere in time for a Lakes Explorer tour. Their effort was rewarded with one of the best days of the year - stunning reflections, crystal clear views, excellent humour and an awesome day out - thank you Vy Le!
